Lauren was raised in the Shenandoah Valley. Her father, subdivided farms mostly for Northern Virginians to retire to the beautiful countryside or, for second homes. He also owned multiple apartment buildings. single family home rentals and commercial buildings. Lauren was born into a real estate environment and raised with the hard working values of purchasing, selling, subdividing land, construction and rental properties. At a very young age, she and her siblings were on construction sites, watching from roads being constructed to a happy new home owner being handed the keys to their spectacular new custom home. She also assisted with property upkeep and showing both residential and commercial property in high school.

She attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida graduating with a degree in Business and Biology. She lived in Europe and traveled extensively for several years. She settled in Reston, Virginia in 1986 and began her real estate career with Long and Foster Real Estate and stayed with Long and Foster, Reston Virginia for 10 years. She became an expert in the Route 7/ Dulles Toll Road corridor showing properties from Tysons Corner/ Centreville/Leesburg (and west), Lowes Island, Cascades, Ashburn, Belmont, Brambleton and Lansdowne (the gated communites).

She is an expert with regard to the different builders and their products. She sold NV Homes, Ryan, Centex, Ryland, US Homes, MI Homes, Winchester and Toll Brothers new homes when they were breaking ground in the Dulles corrider 20 years ago. Lauren moved to Remax at Tysons Corner for 5 years in the mid-90's and expanded her expertise to the Alexandria, Arlington, Mclean, Vienna and Oakton markets. She founded Northern Virginia Real Estate, Inc. in 1999 and relocated to Mclean.

In addition to real estate, Lauren is very involved with her church, St Lukes Catholic Church in Mclean. She serves the community through volunteer work. She participates with meals on wheels, Habitat for Humanity, driving the elderly from Lewinsville to chemotherapy treatments at Fairfax Hospital. She is also an animal lover. She is a volunteer for "Grreat" - golden retriever rescue. She currently has three rescue labs.

Jim joined Northern Virginia Real Estate, Inc. because of his passion for real estate and customer service. His commitment to client needs and service has been the formula of his success in the legal community and continues to drive him in the Real Estate industry.

Prior to joining Northern Virginia Real Estate, Inc., Jim spent over 20 years in Sales Consulting, Account Management and Business Management with prominent national litigation support companies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. During this time period, he also started his own litigation services company, Conway Group, Inc. in Northern Virginia, achieving significant success in his first year of operations. After 4.5 successful years, Conway Group, Inc. was acquired by a firm in Torrance, CA.

Jim grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. After high school, Jim attended St. Francis University in Loretto, PA on a four year Division I basketball scholarship and majored in Business Management.
